Pricing and Shipping
1. Are the prices on the website inclusive or exclusive of taxes?
All prices listed on our site DO NOT include taxes or shipping charges. Taxes and shipping are added at the end of the Checkout process, before you make your payment. Please review all charges carefully before proceeding.
2. Does The Durga Project deliver products outside India?
Yes, The Durga Project does deliver products outside India. Shipping charges will depend on the weight of the products you order, and the delivery location. If your country does not appear in the drop down during the Checkout process, please mail us an enquiry at admin@thedurgaproject.org and we will service your request as soon as possible.
3. What are your shipping charges for shipments within India?
Shipping charges are based on the weight / volume of the product ordered inclusive of the weight of the packaging. Current shipping charges are Rs. 100 for each order below Rs. 2000, and free domestic shipping on orders above Rs. 2000 up to a maximum of 5 kilograms.
3. What are your shipping charges for shipments outside India?
Shipping for consignments shipments out of India will be charged at Rs. 1500 per consignment upto 1 kilogram in weight.
Any extra customs, duties and local taxes related to shipping will need to be borne by the respective customer or recipient of the consignment.
4. How long will it take to receive the ordered products?
The Durga Project strives to process and ship every order within 5 working days. Depending on the shipping address within India, delivery should take 7-14 working days unless otherwise specifiied in the product description. In some rare cases, due to delivery address accessibility issues, it may take longer to receive the shipment. For international deliveries in US, UK or Europe, the delivery could take from 2-4 weeks under normal circumstances.
5. What will be the mode of delivery?
Depending upon your location and reach, we employ various domestic but reliable service providers or courier services to deliver products.
6. How can I change my shipping address for delivery of my consignment, once my order has been placed?
Any changes in address will be accepted only if your order has not been shipped. For this, you need to inform us of the changed address by email ati admin@thedurgaproject.org within 24 hours. Address change is only possible if new location is within the same state.
Order Tracking
1. How will I know if my order is placed successfully?
You will receive an email confirmation from The Durga Project once your order is successfully placed. This mail will have all the details related to your order.
2. How can I track my product shipment?
Orders once processed and shipped can be tracked using the consignment/tracking number. A mail will be sent to the customer after the order is shipped with this number along with the name and URL of the service provider. Type in the tracking number provided in the mail in the tracking section on the page of the provided URL to confirm the status.
3. What time of day can I expect my consignment to reach me?
Our courier partners will be able to deliver the shipment to you between Monday through Saturday: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Working days exclude public holidays and Sundays. Exact delivery time is subject to factors beyond our control, including unexpected travel delays from our courier partners/transporters or due to weather conditions and strikes.
