Cancellations

1.  What is your Order Cancellation/Modification policy?
  • You may cancel your order on any items within 24 hours of placing the order.  However, please note our Cancellation policy does not apply to products that are "made to order" or ordered specifically on request.  Also, if any of the item(s) in your order has already been dispatched, you will not be able to cancel the order.
  •  Once we process your cancellation, we will refund you the amount in the form of a gift voucher.  You may also choose to have the amount refunded to your bank account.  
  • To cancel an order, please email us at returns@thedurgaproject.org and ensure you share the Order Number so we can process it efficiently.    

2.  Can I modify my order after placing it?

  • We understand that in cases, you may want to alter the ordered size or colour option of a product in your placed order. You may even require having your shipping address updated.  For such requests, please mail us at returns@thedurgaproject.org within 24 hours of placing the order, along with your Order Number. If your order has not been dispatched, we will modify your order details for you.

3.  When will I receive my refund for a cancelled order?

  • We shall process your refund immediately once your order has been cancelled.
  • Your refund can be in the form of a gift voucher, or you may also choose to have the amount refunded to your bank account. 
  • To avail any of the options above, please mail us at returns@thedurgaproject.org as soon as possible with your order number.

4.  Can I change the product after I have placed an order?

  • That is not possible. You can either cancel the order or you can return the product and place a fresh order.

Returns

1.  What is your Returns policy?
  • You can return products ordered from The Durga Project within 48 hours of receiving delivery of the product.
  • Returned products must be unused and unwashed, and returned with all original packaging and tags that they were shipped with.  You will have to bear the expenses of shipping it back to us.
  • In the unlikely event that your merchandise arrives damaged, you should email us at returns@thedurgaproject.org a photo of the damaged product within 48 hours of receiving your order.  We will be happy to replace the product if it is available, or make a full refund for the item purchased.   This includes any items purchased on sale.
  • Your refund can be in the form of a gift voucher, or you may also choose to have the amount refunded to your bank account.
  • Once inspected for any damage, we will send you an email confirming acceptance of your return and make a complete refund of your order, including the original cost of shipping. 
  • Returns and refunds are not possible for products that are ‘made to order’ specifically on request.

2.  How do I return products to The Durga Project?

  • If you’d like to return a product and claim a refund, it would be your responsibility to repack and return the product back to us at your expense through the same cargo or through your own channel.  
  • You will have to bear the expenses of shipping it back to us. 
  • All items to be returned must be unused and in their original condition with all original tags and packaging intact.
  • Please do take care that that you pack items securely and safely to prevent any loss or damage during transit.
  • For all self-shipped returns, we recommend you use a reliable courier service.
  • Returns are not possible for products that are ‘made to order’, specifically on request.
  • Please note that you need to make the return within 48 hours from receipt of the product. 
  • The total invoice value inclusive of original shipping will be refunded to you though a gift voucher or a bank transfer.

3.  Can I request a replacement?

  • If you’d like a replacement, we will try and replace the product with a new piece if available in stock.   Please do note, however, that handmade goods are often one-of-a-kind pieces, and we may not be able to replace your order with the exact same design.
  • It would be your responsibility to repack and return the product back to us at your expense through the same cargo or through your own channel.
  • The shipping and delivery charges for the  fresh replacement product will be borne by us.

4.  Where do I send my return/s?

5.  How long will the entire returns process take?

  • It can take up to 14 days for us to receive your return, depending on your location and the courier service you use. Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect and process the same within 48 hours to ensure you receive your refund as quickly as possible.
  • We will send you an email confirming the action we have taken, as soon as we are confident the goods are in their original condition and the refund has been allocated to your accounts.
